Today, I asked everyone’s favorite Bible verses,
and they wrote down without any hesitation.
Even some of them memorized all of the long passages !
Jane’s favorite is from Psalm 46 verse 10.
‘Be still and know that I am God;
I will exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.’
When I first asked Andrew’s favorite,
He couldn’t decide between so many verses he loves.
But at last he choose from Ephesians chapter 6 verse 10 – 13.
‘Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
Put on the full armor of God
so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood,
but against the rulers, against the authorities,
against the powers of this dark world
and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Therefore put on the full armor of God,
so that when the day of evil comes,
you may be able to stand your ground,
and after you have done everything, to stand.’
Lazarus choose two verses both from John.
John chapter 3 verse 3 says,
‘In reply Jesus declared,
“I tell you the truth,
no one can see the kingdom of God
unless he is born again.’
And Chapter 14 verse 6 says,
‘Jesus answered,
“I am the way and the truth and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me.’
Andreza’s favorite is from 1 Corinthians chapter 2, verse 9.
‘No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived
what God has prepared for those who love him.’
Alessandra choose from John chapter 3 verse 16.
It says, ‘For God so loved the world that
he gave his one and only son,
that whoever believes in him shall not perish
but have eternal life.’
Ilona’s choice was from Luke chapter 17.
Verse 20 – 21 says, ‘Once, having been asked by the Pharisees
When the kingdom of God would come,
Jesus replied, “The kingdom of God does not come
with your careful observation,
nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or
‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is within you.’
Sue’s favorite is from Psalm 23, verse 1 – 3.
‘The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul.
He guids me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.’
